FAQ

Straight answers about how a Lutheis website is ordered, priced, built and looked after. If your question is not here, ask it directly.

What's the difference between Collection and Bespoke?

Collection designs are ready-made layouts from the Lutheis library. You choose one, and it gets adapted to your brand, colors, content, and identity. Bespoke is built entirely from scratch, with no template as a starting point. Every element is designed specifically for you and what you want to communicate.

What does "2 revisions" mean exactly?

Two rounds of revisions are included. A round opens when a version is delivered and closes when you send your consolidated list of changes, so anything arriving after that list counts towards the next round. Revisions refine the brief agreed at the time of the order; changing the brief itself is a change of scope and is quoted separately. Rounds are used within thirty days of the delivery that opened them. Before a round starts we read your list, and if it goes beyond what one round covers we tell you and quote it before any work begins, so you are never left with work stopped halfway. Further rounds are available at any time as an Extra Revision, €200. For the text and the images on your existing pages you do not need us at all: every website comes with a CMS, so you change those yourself, whenever you like.

How long does it take?

A Collection design typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. A Bespoke design takes 4 to 8 weeks. Timeline depends on how quickly you provide feedback and how complex your chosen extras are. Connecting your domain and putting the site live is part of every delivery and adds a few days at the end.

Do I own the code?

You own your design and your content. The visual design created for your website is yours to use worldwide, with no time limit, and a collection design is retired the moment it is sold, so it is never used again for anyone else. Everything you supply, and everything you write through the CMS, stays yours. The underlying implementation stays with Lutheis: the code, components and infrastructure your site runs on. That is what makes it possible to host, secure, update and maintain the site for €49 a month instead of handing over a folder of files. You are not locked in: your website and its accounts can be transferred into your own name at any time, quoted individually, and your domain is in your name throughout.

What if I don't like the result?

This is rare, because the order form is designed to capture your vision in detail before work begins. But if the first version misses the mark, that is exactly what the revision rounds are for. If you feel the result is genuinely not aligned with what was agreed, we will discuss it and find a solution together.

What do I need to have ready before ordering?

At minimum: your brand name, a rough idea of what your site should do, and some idea of the style you like. A logo, colors, or existing content, bring those if you have them. Nothing needs to be finalised before you start. The order form is designed to draw out everything that matters.
