The spaces

Tables set on timber decks around a lantern-lit pond, with stepping stones and a small bridge, the dining room glowing beyond

One

The Garden

Tables set among the trees, beside water that moves slowly. In summer the whole service happens out here, in soft light that comes up from the path rather than down from above.

The dining room at dusk: set tables, a long fire along one wall, an open kitchen at the far end, and the garden through a wall of glass

Two

The Dining Room

Twenty-four seats in a single room. Warm timber, dimmed light, a long fire down one wall, and a window that frames the garden as though it were hung there.

The bar at dusk: stools along a dark stone counter, backlit shelves of whisky and sake behind it, and the garden through glass on both sides

Three

The Bar

Low light and a long counter. Sake by the glass, chosen by the person pouring it, and a short list of things to eat standing up. Open later than the sushi counter.
